SAN
DIEGO SPANIEL RESCUE 3RD ANNUAL GARAGE SALE, held at 698 Herbert
Street in El Cajon.
San Diego Spaniel Rescue (SDSR) is well-known for its work re-homing
Cocker Spaniels throughout the county Once a year they re-home treasures
in their annual Garage Sale. SDSR is accepting items now through
May 3rd. Call now to arrange drop-off or to have a volunteer pick
up your donations from you.

THE
SAN DIEGO SPANIEL SOCIAL: Saturday May 5th - Doyle Park Dog Park
1 pm - ? pm at 8175 Regents Road. Join fellow Cocker Spaniel enthusiasts
(and their dogs!) for a leisurely get together. Our San Diego Spaniel
Social happens monthly. Beginning at 1:00 pm, for about an hour,
your Spaniels can mingle and romp in the enclosed safety of the
fenced-in dog park located at 8175 Regents Road . This is a great
opportunity to bond with your canine companion while providing socialization
skills - not to mention a chance to show off the apple of your eye!

PARADE
OF RESCUES: Friday May 11th - iPayOne Center (aka: Sports Arena)
time TBD at 3500 Sports Arena Blvd The Cocker Spaniel Club of San
Diego and San Diego Spaniel Rescue join together to present our
first ever Parade of Rescues. Held on the showgrounds of the Club's
Cocker Spaniel Specialty Show, sanctioned by the AKC, SDSR will
show off 20 rescues from 2006 in a show style parade in the ring.
Be a part of a new tradition and rejoice in these dogs who have
found a new "leash" on life. Join breeders, handlers,
judges and rescue parents as we cheer the success of Rescue in San
Diego !

11 am - 2 pm at 8501 Fletcher Parkway The Spaniels return to East
County! At this popular adoption site the dogs and the volunteers
always enjoy themselves. We'll be there with some of our adoptable
Spaniels at 8501 Fletcher Parkway from 11 am - 2 pm. Come stop by
our Goodie Table or take the time to play with the Cocker Spaniels!
Pre-approved adopters can take a new family member home from these
events - all other potential adopters must go through our screening
process first (application form, telephone interview, home visit
and reference checks).

CABRILLO
KENNEL CLUB ALL BREED DOG SHOW - San Diego Sports Arena,
3500 Sports Arena Boulevard, San Diego. Plan to attend this very
special event. There will be purebred dogs galore, as well as lots
of vendors selling specialized dog items - everything from grooming
equipment, toys and treats to fancy collars and dog food. Come watch,
learn and enjoy!

ADOPTION
EVENT: Saturday, May 19th - Petco/Mission Viejo ( Orange County
)
11 am - 2 pm at 25592 El Paseo Orange County, here we come! San
Diego Spaniel Rescue represents Orange County Cocker Spaniels, too.
We'll be there with some of our adoptable Spaniels at 25592 El Paseo
from 11 am - 2 pm. Come take the time to play with the Cocker Spaniels!
Pre-approved adopters can take a new family member home from these
events - all other potential adopters must go through our screening

OCEANSIDE SPANIEL SOCIAL: Saturday May 19th - Oceanside Dog Park
11 am - ? pm at 2905 San Luis Rey Road. Join fellow Cocker Spaniel
enthusiasts (and their dogs!) for a leisurely get together. Our
Oceanside Spaniel Social happens monthly. Beginning at 11:00 am,
